Aikido Class Descriptions
What are those classes?
  • Kids' Aikido - This class is for children ages 5 - 12.  Follow this link for more information.
  • Open Mat - This is less of a formal class where the students often choose the lessons.
  • Adult Aikido - This is the standard class for all adults, ages 13 and older.
  • Aikido Foundations - Back to basics; this class goes over any fundamental notion of the art
  • Waza (Basics) - The waza basics class focuses on simpler techniques and motions
Open mat classes are usually reserved for smaller class sizes, but it really depends on what the class's sensei chooses to do.
