MCFM - Moving to New Location Link - Wed, 07 Mar 2007 06:35:15 GMT Hi All,
Just wanted to give you an update on the new facility in Hudson. We are working hard to get it ready by the 26th (tentative opening date).
It will feature an enclosed yoga room, 2 training areas, cardio and weight equipment and over 2200 square feet of mat space.
Anyone who wants to help paint or just work on stuff, let me know, we can use the help on the weekends.

Beginner class in Hudson Link - Fri, 27 Jan 2006 15:17:06 GMT The beginner Aikido class is starting again in Hudson on Thursday Feb. 9th. The class will be 4 thursday sessions from 6:30-7:30pm. This class will be focusing mainly on Ukemi (with some new techniques to ease shoulder trouble) and very basic waza. All belt levels are welcome, but white and yellow belts are encouraged to come. The class will be taught by Chris Kolve, Faith Eisentrager, and Jason Tucker. Come if you can!
New Classes added at Hudson MCFM Link - Fri, 02 Dec 2005 09:12:54 GMT Starting Tuesday, January 3rd 2006 we will be adding daytime classes at 10am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Morning Self-Defense/Self-Protection Class Offered Link - Fri, 14 Oct 2005 01:03:06 GMT MCFM will be holding its 2nd self-defense & self-protection class series on 4 consecutive Wednesday mornings from 8:30am-9:30am starting October 19th.

Added organization calendar Link - Thu, 03 Jan 2008 00:01:07 GMT All Aikido Bukou events will begin to appear on our google calendar. These will include seminars, special events, and tests, among others, across our school locations. The calendar is currently located at the bottom-center of this page.
No Aikido in Burnsville, Thursday Sept 6 Link - Wed, 05 Sep 2007 20:18:32 GMT We will be attending a mini-seminar with Randy Bonifay sensei in Hudson WI. Classes resume normal scheduling on Friday, Sept 7.
Sankyu Test - Aug 24 Link - Fri, 24 Aug 2007 22:23:16 GMT Kevin passed his sankyu test this evening, and did a fine job. Congratulations to Kevin, and we look forward to watching him grow in skill!

Seminar with Randy Bonifay sensei!

The Spring 2007 seminar with Randy Bonifay sensei was a blast!
Uke just happens to be along for the ride.
The April seminar saw a number of notable milestones: our best attendance levels yet, courteous guests, new products, new restaurant, and certainly not the least a new nidan! (Cory Hansen, pictured, front row, second from right)
Many interesting and excellent topics were covered, from attitude in technique execution, to movement direction, and weapons. Many brains were harmed in the making of this event.
Thank you sensei! Our deep thanks go to sensei for his time and to the students who really pitched in to help make his visit pleasant and memorable. We truly would not have had that success without their help.

We have two new shodan: Faith Eisentrager and Chris Kolve!

Their tests were excellent and they handled themselves in the best spirit of MAAF aikido. Well done!
