Sometimes the opportunity arises where I can do a specific art that people may have an urge to work on. Usually, I come up with something on my own, but if I have knowledge of what others want to try out, I'll work that in too (after all, you do pay for instruction).

So, use this thread here to make suggestions for filler material and I'll do what I can to incorporate your suggestions. Be specific (name the art if you can), and keep it simple -- all classes have a theme, so we'll work 'em in when it's appropriate.

Take care,

*Phil

Tristan made the following suggestions:

- Finer points of setting up zenponage from different attacks
- Standing pins
- More exploration into the finer points of iriminage
- Sosa's favored 'head throw' and it's setup
- Kaitenage
- Partner practice with the ushirodori zenponage, zenshinage and ushiro tekubitori kotai
- Some yonko techniques

SneakyNinja had this to add:

We haven't worked with the jo in awhile, something I always find beneficial and eye opening. Something I would like to work on are techniques against "real world" attacks, such as sucker punches and blows to the head (with fist or jo). And how about some techniques and defenses against knives and other hand-held objects? Is there a way to practice refining techniques in small confined spaces - an example would be the space between the water cooler and the changing rooms?
